When The Boyd Group became dissatisfied with the third-party solution they were using to manage their employment needs, they asked WRIS Web Services to partner with them on the development of an Employment Portal.

Fast forward to today, and The Boyd Group now uses this custom tool for Boyd Autobody and Gerber Collision & Glass. The main purpose of the portal is to allow The Boyd Group to solicit and manage jobs online. A potential employee can browse for job opportunities by region to see what is available. If they express interest, the appropriate representative can contact them and start the process right from the portal. So not only can The Boyd Group track applicant status during the entire process, but they can also search and filter the data by status, region or job, as well as export that information to a spreadsheet.

In addition, the client can generate and distribute a specific URL at job fairs, shows, etc. by including it on collateral or promotional material, allowing them to drive potential employees to their website.

We've also developed the back-end of a referral program, allowing existing employees to refer other potential applicants they think might be a good addition to the team.
