WRIS at Adobe ColdFusion Summit 2026: Innovation, AI, and Community

AI Takes Center Stage at ColdFusion Summit 2026

Another Adobe ColdFusion Summit is in the books, and what an incredible week it was. As a proud sponsor, the WRIS team had a fantastic time connecting with developers, customers, partners, and friends from across the ColdFusion community.

From the opening keynote through the final sessions, one theme stood out above the rest: artificial intelligence. Adobe unveiled exciting new AI-native capabilities and shared its vision for the future of ColdFusion, demonstrating how AI is becoming an integral part of application development. The enthusiasm continued throughout the week, including the Summit's first-ever AI Training, which filled almost immediately with developers eager to expand their skills and explore what's possible.

One of the highlights of the event was welcoming Ben Forta back to the ColdFusion Summit stage. His keynote was a reminder of the curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning that have defined the ColdFusion community for decades. Combined with technical sessions, roadmap discussions, and hands-on training, the Summit reinforced that ColdFusion continues to evolve alongside today's technology while remaining a trusted platform for building powerful applications.

Building Connections Beyond the Sessions

While the presentations and technical content were outstanding, one of the best parts of every ColdFusion Summit is the opportunity to connect with the people who make this community so special.

The WRIS booth stayed busy throughout the conference as attendees stopped by to chat about ColdFusion modernization, custom application development, and the future of the platform. This year, we also had some fun with our photo booth, where visitors captured memories with colleagues and friends throughout the event.

Our Grumpy Dev Challenge quickly became another crowd favorite. Developers tested their knowledge by matching classic programmer frustrations with their solutions, sparking plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and conversations about the real-world challenges developers face every day.

Most importantly, we loved catching up with longtime clients, meeting new faces, and spending time with our partners and fellow sponsors. These conversations are what make the Summit so valuable and remind us why the ColdFusion community continues to be one of the most collaborative and welcoming in the industry.

Looking Ahead

Adobe ColdFusion Summit 2026 once again demonstrated that ColdFusion continues to grow alongside the changing technology landscape. With AI driving exciting new possibilities, a thriving developer community, and a shared commitment to innovation, the future of the platform has never looked brighter.

A huge thank you to Adobe for hosting another outstanding event and to everyone who stopped by the WRIS booth to say hello, participate in our Grumpy Dev Challenge, or snap a photo with us. We appreciate every conversation and every connection, and we're already looking forward to seeing everyone again at the next ColdFusion Summit.
