The Challenge:

Before this system, there was no formal method for reporting property damage related to natural disasters. The county needed an efficient way to intake claims and ensure that homeowners received the tax relief they were entitled to.

The Solution:

WRIS built a brand-new Property Damage Reporting Hub from the ground up in just 2.5 weeks. Using Bootstrap, we developed a user-friendly portal where property owners could submit claims easily. On the backend, appraisers could access claims, update statuses, and generate legally required PR-465 forms. An export tool was also integrated to report claim data to the state, ensuring a smooth connection between the county and state-level tax relief processes.
